The tour starts very early from Cusco and includes tourist transportation, breakfast, lunch and a guided hike to the famous Seven Color Mountain.
Itinerary
DAY 01 - Rainbow Mountain Full Day
Guided hike to Vinicunca, one of Peru's most surprising mountains.
The adventure begins at approximately 4:30 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Cusco to start the journey toward the southern part of the region.
After a drive of approximately two hours we will arrive in Cusipata, where we will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast before continuing to the starting point of the hike.
The hike to Rainbow Mountain takes approximately 1 hour and passes through impressive landscapes surrounded by mountains, alpacas and panoramic views of the Andes.
Upon reaching the summit, located at more than 5,000 meters above sea level, you will be able to admire the incredible natural colors of Vinicunca and enjoy one of Peru's most spectacular views.
For travelers who prefer to avoid part of the hike, it is possible to hire horses, motorbikes or ATVs along the route.
After the visit we will return to Cusipata for a buffet lunch and finally head back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.
