Itinerary
DAY 01 - Humantay Lake Full Day
Guided hike to one of Peru's most famous and photographed lakes.
The adventure begins at approximately 4:30 a.m. with pickup from your hotel in Cusco to start the journey toward the community of Mollepata, located in the province of Anta.
After a drive of approximately two and a half hours, we will stop to enjoy a traditional breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.
Along the way we will be able to admire impressive Andean landscapes and panoramic views of the majestic Salkantay snow-capped mountain.
From Soraypampa we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on each traveler's pace, until we reach the spectacular Humantay Lake.
Upon arrival, you will have time to rest, explore the area and enjoy the impressive turquoise waters surrounded by snow-capped mountains and unique landscapes of the Peruvian Andes.
After enjoying this unforgettable experience, we will begin the descent to Soraypampa to board our return transportation to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a semi-buffet lunch.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 p.m. near Plaza Regocijo.
