Scope of application

• The services offered by KANTU MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL S.A.C. are subject to current tourism regulations in Peru and to these terms and conditions, which govern the contractual relationship between the company and the passenger.
• These conditions apply to tour programs, excursions, travel packages, transport services, accommodation bookings, trains, entrance tickets and other services sold by the company.
• By making a booking through the website, email, social media, WhatsApp or any authorized channel, the client declares that they have read, understood and fully accepted these terms and conditions.

Booking policy

• To formalize a booking, the passenger must provide clear, accurate and complete information. The booking will be confirmed once the corresponding initial payment and requested documentation have been received.
• As a general rule, a minimum advance payment of 50% of the total value of the contracted service is required, unless special conditions have been previously agreed in writing. The remaining balance must be paid up to 30 days before the travel start date. If the booking is made within 30 days before the trip, 100% of the amount must be paid immediately.
• Booking confirmation is subject to the availability of hotels, trains, airlines, operators and other suppliers.

Machu Picchu bookings

Due to high demand and limited availability of Machu Picchu entrance tickets, booking at least four to five months in advance is recommended, especially between April and October.

Availability of tickets, circuits and schedules depends exclusively on the Ministry of Culture of Peru. The company is not responsible if tickets cannot be purchased due to restrictions imposed by competent authorities.

Program changes and rates

Changes requested by the passenger regarding dates, services or itineraries are subject to availability and may generate additional costs. Services not used by decision of the passenger are non-refundable.

The company may modify itineraries when external circumstances require it, seeking to protect safety and the proper development of the trip. Prices are expressed in US dollars (USD) and may be adjusted due to significant variations in exchange rates or tourism costs.

Passenger responsibility

The passenger must previously inform any relevant medical condition, allergy, ongoing treatment or physical limitation, and declares that they are in suitable condition to participate in the contracted activities.

Luggage and personal belongings are the exclusive responsibility of the traveler. Travel insurance covering accidents, illness, lost luggage, cancellations and other eventualities is recommended.

Use of image

The passenger authorizes KANTU MACHUPICCHU TRAVEL S.A.C. to use photographs, videos and audiovisual material captured during tourism services for promotional, advertising, commercial and institutional communication purposes, unless written notice to the contrary is provided before the trip begins.

Jurisdiction and acceptance

Any dispute arising from the contracting or provision of services shall be resolved according to the laws of the Republic of Peru and submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Cusco.

Any payment, advance payment, transfer, deposit, payment link, PayPal, credit card, WeTravel or other authorized payment method is sufficient proof that the client has read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
