Itinerary
DAY 01 - Machu Picchu Full Day
Panoramic train journey, tourist bus, guided visit in Machu Picchu and return to Cusco.
The experience begins very early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo.
From there we will board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying impressive Andean landscapes, mountains and the route parallel to the Urubamba River.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will have free time for breakfast before boarding the tourist bus that will take you to the Machu Picchu citadel in approximately 25 minutes.
In Machu Picchu we will take a guided visit of approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on the reserved circuit, exploring the main archaeological sectors, ceremonial temples, terraces and viewpoints of this wonder of the world.
During the tour you will learn about the history, architecture and spiritual meaning of one of the most important places of the Inca Empire.
After the guided visit, there will be time to take photographs and enjoy the unique energy of Machu Picchu.
Later we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you may have lunch and explore the town before boarding the train back to Ollantaytambo.
Finally, tourist transportation will take you back to the city of Cusco, concluding an unforgettable experience.
